About the Training

Critical Incident Stress Management training equips individuals with techniques and strategies to reduce stress and promote recovery following a critical incident.

What is it?

A three-day certification course teaching a comprehensive approach that involves a range of interventions including: pre-crisis preparation, defusing, critical incident stress debriefing (CISD), individual crisis intervention, follow-up and referral.

Why is CISM training important for first responders?

Reduces the risk of long-term psychological issues, promotes mental health support, fosters resilience, enhances communication and teamwork, and supports overall well-being.
