About the Training

A proliferation of machine gun conversion devices, aka, “Glock switches”, drop-in auto sears for rifles and 3D printed firearms are showing up on the streets in Indiana. These devices represent a clear danger to the public and to police officers by converting semiautomatic firearms into machine guns. Course content will provide tips on identification along with best practices to increase officer safety and prosecutions in both federal and state courts. During the course, an Agent will demonstrate onsite how these devices are made utilizing a 3D printer.

This training is brought to you by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives with coordination through the Fishers Police Department and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Indiana.

This is open and recommended for ALL levels of law enforcement, but especially patrol officers.
